WhatsApp introduced a new way to use voice messages on groups, and Humane AI Pin will be available for purchase for early supporters, starting today.
The Vivo X100 and the Vivo X100 Pro, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC are now official in China. The X100 Pro is also one of the few smartphones that includes a 100mm equivalent periscope zoom lens with support for 4.3x optical zooming and up to 100x digital zoom. These devices also include an impressive display, which offers up to 3000 nits of peak brightness, and these phones ship with Android 14-based OriginOS skin with a plethora of customisation features.
Imran Chaudhri is the man behind the tech that is said to replace smartphones. With this long two-decade-long stint at Apple, Chaudhri has designed a plethora of products such as iPhones, Macs, and more. Chaudhri, who is a co-founder and president of Humane recently announced its first product AI Pin, a generative-AI powered clip-on device with a laser ink display, which will be available for purchase for select users in the US starting today.
WhatsApp just introduced a Discord-like voice chat feature for groups. This allows users to initiate a voice chat without ringing all participants in a group and join and leave a voice chat anytime they want to. However, the feature is currently limited to groups with 33 to 128 participants.
Samsung has officially confirmed that the Android 14-based OneUI 6 update will be available for over 30 devices, that too within the next five weeks. The update is already available for Samsung's current flagship offerings -- Galaxy S23 series and will be made available for S series, Z series, A series, M series, and F series of smartphones in the coming weeks.
Humane's AI Pin is currently apprised as a smartphone replacement, which is said to help users reduce smartphone addiction. This tiny device is the brainchild of Imran Chaudhri, who worked on various Apple devices for more than 20 years.
Threads has finally introduced the option to delete their account on the platform without losing access to Instagram. Until now, Meta had tied Threads to Instagram, meaning if you deleted your Threads account, your Instagram account was deleted as well.
While Apple is yet to ship its first consumer-centric VR headset - Vision Pro, the tech giant already seems to be working on the 2nd gen Vision Pro. The rumoured headset is said to bring minor design changes and might be launched sometime in late 2025.
