July is shaping up to be an exciting month for smartphone enthusiasts in India as major brands such as Nothing, OnePlus, Samsung, iQOO, Oppo, Realme, and Motorola gear up to launch their newest devices. The lineup consists of mid-range and high-end flagship smartphones, including foldable devices, gaming-centric phones, and unique offerings like Nothing’s Phone (2) with a transparent back panel with glyph lighting.

Here’s a comprehensive list of the major phones launching in July 2023:

Nothing Phone (2)

Nothing is all set to launch its second generation smartphone, the Phone (2). The company has confirmed that the Phone (2) will be based on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, offering a much-needed performance boost over the Phone (1). When it comes to design, the Phone (2) will be based on the Phone (1) with subtle changes such as a curved frame with uniquely positioned Glyph lighting.

The Phone (2) is also confirmed to feature a 120Hz display with a centered punch hole, and the device is said to be made using recycled metals. On top of that, the Phone (2) is also said to debut with the latest Nothing OS (2), featuring a brand new UI. The Phone (2) is scheduled to launch on July 11 and the device is already available for pre-order on Flipkart.

Motorola Razr 40, Razr 40 Ultra

The Motorola Razr 40 and the Razr 40 Ultra are expected to help the company to make a statement in the world of foldable devices, which is currently dominated by Samsung. To help achieve this feat, the Razr 40 Ultra offers the largest cover display ever on a flip phone, and the device also has a 6.9-inch 165Hz primary display with a peak brightness of 1400nits.

The Motorola Razr 40 is a toned-down version of the Razr 40 Ultra with a smaller 1.5-inch cover display. While the Razr 40 Ultra is based on the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, the Razr 40 comes with the slightly modest Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. The Razr 40 series of smartphones are launching in India on June 3.

Oppo Reno 10 series

Oppo is all set to unveil the Reno 10 series in India on July 10. Just like their predecessors, the Reno 10 will have an emphasis on design and cameras, and the Reno 10 Pro+ is confirmed to feature the world’s first 64 MP periscope zoom lens with support for up to 120x hybrid zoom. The Reno 10 Pro+ is also based on the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, just like the Nothing Phone (2), Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, and the iQOO Neo 7 Pro.

Oppo will also introduce the Reno 10 Pro with a 50MP primary camera, 32 MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. The Reno 10 Pro is said to be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8200 SoC with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

OnePlus Nord 3, Nord CE 3

OnePlus is also scheduled to launch two phones in July — Nord 3 and the Nord CE 3. Launching on July 5, the Nord 3 with the Mediatek Dimensity 9000 SoC is touted to be the best Nord that the company has ever made. Besides, the phone is also said to feature a bezel-less display and is touted to offer OnePlus’s iconic alert slider.

Similarly, the Nord CE 3 will be a more affordable version, based on the Snapdragon 782G SoC. The device is said to pack a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is also speculated to include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of look and feel, the Nord CE 3 is likely to resemble the Nord 3 and even the Nord CE 3 Lite.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy M53

Samsung recently confirmed the launch of the upgraded S12 FE, featuring a more powerful Snapdragon 888 SoC. The company originally launched the Exynos 2100-based Galaxy S21 FE back in 2022 and the company is now introducing the Snapdragon variant in India, with the processor being the only differentiator.

The device is confirmed to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display, 6,000 mAh battery, and the brand is heavily advertising the 50MP primary camera with OIS. The device is likely to be priced under Rs 25,000.

iQOO Neo 7 Pro

iQOO is also launching its new gaming-centric smartphone — Neo 7 Pro, featuring the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a dedicated gaming chip on July 4. The device is said to offer a 120Hz AMOLED display and the phone is also said to offer a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 120Hz fast charging. The iQOO Neo 7 Pro is likely to be one of the most affordable Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1-based devices in India.

Realme Narzo 60 Pro

While the Realme Narzo 60 Pro might not pack cutting-edge hardware like the other devices launching in July, it is likely to be one of the most affordable phones with a whopping 1 TB of internal storage. According to official teasers, the phone is teased to feature a circular camera island and is also likely to offer a leather back panel.
