Realme launches GT 8 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and 7,000mAh battery

The Realme GT 8 Pro, the latest flagship smartphone from the brand, has been introduced in India. The gadget has a camera system created in collaboration with the Japanese company Ricoh and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The Realme GT 8 Pro, which starts at Rs 72,999, has a modular design that allows customers to choose between various camera island designs.

Additionally, Realme is launching a unique Dream Edition that draws inspiration from the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team and will be offered at Rs 79,999. On November 25, the Realme GT 8 Pro will go on sale on the company’s website and Flipkart.

The GT 8 Pro features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, along with realme’s Hyper Vision+ AI chip. The device claims to exceed four million points on AnTuTu, maintaining performance during intensive multitasking or gaming. For gamers, the AI Gaming Super Frame engine allows sustained high frame rates, and for thermal conductivity, the device boasts a 7K Ultimate VC Cooling System.

Running on realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, the Realme GT 8 Pro features a smooth interface with light glass design. It includes AI capabilities such as AI Notify Brief for summarising notifications, AI Framing Master for enhancing photography, and a Multi-task sidebar for running multiple apps. Additional AI tools like AI Gaming Coach and AI Smart Reply further boost productivity and entertainment.

The camera capabilities are highlighted by a collaboration with the Ricoh GR. It includes a primary camera with 28mm and 40mm focal lengths, a rapid Snap Focus mode, and a 200MP telephoto camera with 12× lossless zoom, complemented by a 50MP ultra-wide lens and video recording options such as 4K at 120fps and 8K at 30fps.

The GT 8 Pro is powered by a 7,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, promising over 20 hours of video streaming and more than eight hours of gaming on a single charge.

Running on realme UI 7.0 built on Android 16, the device introduces new AI features for notification management and multitasking, supporting up to 12 apps simultaneously.
