Panasonic has launched its Toughpad FZ-Y1, world’s first 20-inch tablet with a 4K display in India. The Toughpad FZ-Y1 is the newest device in the rugged Toughpad series.
The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Y1 features a 20-inch display with a resolution of 3840 x 2560 pixels which translates to 230ppi and offers 15:10 aspect ratio. The tablet PC is powered by fifth-generation Intel Core i5 processor coupled with Intel HD graphics. The tablet can be configured with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB solid-state storage.

The business class tablet weighs 2.41kg and is 12.5mm thick. The tablet offers built-in USB 3.0 port, a SDXC card slot, headphone jack and a docking connector. The tablet also supports built-in LAN port, HDMI 2.0 port and a Mini DisplayPort. The Toughpad FZ-Y1 features smart card reader as standard.
The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-Y1 comes loaded with Windows 8.1 and can be upgraded to Windows 10. The tablet also supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and has a 720p front camera for video-calling. The 4K tablet comes with standard 3 year warranty. The new range is priced at Rs 2.4 lakhs.
