The OnePlus 12R is likely to be a rebadged version of the OnePlus Ace 3, and this time around, the company has also confirmed that, unlike the OnePlus 11R, which is limited to select markets, the OnePlus 12R will be available in more locations, including EU, and US.
As per the latest leaks, the OnePlus 12R will feature a new 1.5K resolution OLED screen from BoE and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with at least 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The smartphone is also expected to include an improved camera setup and is likely to offer a 50 MP primary sensor, 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens, and some reports even suggest that the phone will have a dedicated 32 MP telephoto lens.
The OnePlus 12R is speculated to be powered by a large 5,500 mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging, unlike the OnePlus 12, the 12R might not offer wireless charging or an official IP rating. The smartphone is likely to ship with Android 14 based OxygenOS 14 out-of-the-box, and considering the leaks, the device would cost around Rs 40,000 for the entry-level model.
