Reliance Jio, one of the largest telecom networks in India recently announced two new booster plans for AirFiber, the company's 5G-powered wireless internet service. The company says the add-on plans can be used on top of any existing plans to increase your monthly data limit. Launched in September last year, until now, Jio AirFiber customers could only purchase the Rs 401 data booster pack which offers 1TB of high-speed data in addition to the base plan, but the new add-on plans are aimed at those who don't want to spend much. The Rs 101 data booster pack offers 100GB additional data over the existing plan and has the same speed as the base plan while the Rs 251 plan comes with 500GB additional data. The data from these booster plans will be used once you exhaust your monthly cap. One thing to note here is that the validity of both these booster plans is the same as your base plan, so if your AirFiber plan expires on the 1st of every month, your booster pack will expire on the same date. The cheaper Jio AirFiber plan is priced at Rs 599 per month, but the speed is capped to 30Mbps. Apart from wireless internet connectivity via 5G, Jio AirFiber also offers access to a bunch of OTT platforms like Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, Zee5, JioCinema, SunNXT, Hoichoi, Discovery+, Universal+, ALTBalaji, Eros Now, Lionsgate Play, ShemarooMe, Docubay, and EpicOn and more than 550 digital HD channels.
