Nokia 130 Music and the Nokia 150 (Image credit: HMD Global) HMD Global on Thursday announces two new entry-level feature phones — the Nokia 130 Music and the Nokia 150. As the name suggests, the Nokia 130 Music comes with a built-in MP3 player and is also equipped with a large speaker at the back. Similarly, the Nokia 150 is a premium-looking device with an IP52 water resistance certification.
Designed in Finland, the Nokia 130 Music comes with a microSD card slot and it also supports wired and wireless FM radio. Fueled by a large 1,450 mAh battery, the smartphone claims to offer up to 34 days of standby time. On top of that, the device can store up to 2000 contacts and 500 SMS. Do note that, this is a 2G mobile, hence, it will not work with the Jio network, and one needs to use an Airtel or Vi SIM card.
Coming to the Nokia 150, despite not having the term ‘music’ in its nomenclature, it also comes with a built-in MP3 player, microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device has a fairly large 2.4-inch screen and it also packs a user-replaceable 1,450 mAh battery that can deliver 30 hours of continuous music playback. The Nokia 150 even includes a VGA camera at the back along with a flash unit.
The Nokia 130 Music is priced at Rs 1,849 while the Nokia 150 costs Rs 2,699. Both devices will be available via Nokia.com, and partner retail outlets starting today.
HMD Global is currently one of the few smartphone companies that has a strong portfolio of features phones. Besides these two models, the company also has an array of 4G-capable feature phones such as the Nokia 110, Nokia 8210, and even the Nokia 2660 flip phone. Besides, the brand recently launched its first feature phone — Nokia 105 with support for UPI payments.
