Unveiled last year in June at the WWDC, the tech giant said that the headset will be available for purchase in early 2024 in select markets like the US with a retail price tag of $3,499 or approximately Rs 2,89,000.
In a reply to a post on X (formerly Twitter) by MacRumors, known Apple analyst Mark Gurman said that Vision Pro will be launched on January 26. Gurman hinted that the product will be available for purchase at retail stores sometime in February.
A recent report by Bloomberg suggests that the device will be manufactured at the company’s China facility and users will have to book an appointment at a physical Apple Store to see if the headset fits the wearer properly.
The original iPad was released on a Saturday. Jan 26 is indeed the date floating around the last few days among people in China who claim to be connected to Apple. Like I said, units will be ready by end of January with a retail launch by February. It’s imminent.

Powered by Apple’s in-house developed M2 chip, which also powers the company’s iPad and MacBook lineup, Vision Pro will run on visionOS, which lets users control apps using their eyes, hands and voice.
Gurman’s claims corroborate Ming-Chi Kuo’s report, which also hints that Apple’s spatial computing device will be available for purchase in early February in select markets. However, Apple Vision Pro won’t be initially available in India but will be limited to retail stores in the United States.
