Acer launches affordable Aspire desktop PC with modern wireless connectivity options

For less than Rs 50,000, Acer is offering a monitor, desktop PC, keyboard, and mouse.

Acer launched its latest budget PC — the Aspire Desktop, powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core processor, with a starting price of Rs 42,490 on Wednesday. The desktop PC is currently on sale via Acer E-store and Acer exclusive stores, offering three CPU options with support for hardware configuration.

By default, the desktop comes with 8 GB of RAM, which is user-upgradable up to 64 GB, and it also comes equipped with a fast 512 GB SSD, which can be upgraded up to 1 TB. Users can either upgrade the storage or add additional storage using the additional SATA slot. In terms of wireless connectivity, the desktop supports the latest Bluetooth 5.2 along with Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

Depending on the requirement, users can choose between the 12th Gen Intel Core i3-12100 with Intel UHD Graphics 730 graphics, or the Intel Core i5-12400 with either Intel UHD Graphics 750/730 integrated graphics paired with a motherboard featuring the Intel H610 Express Chipset. The desktop ships with the latest Windows 11 OS, and the retail package also includes a USB mouse and keyboard.

The desktop comes with a black cabinet with I/O options like a full-sized SD card slot, and USB-A ports at the front. At the back, it has an RJ45 Ethernet jack, a USB-C port, a full-sized HDMI port, and a display port. Everything is powered by a 250W power supply, and the product carries a one-year onsite warranty.

To complement the desktop, users can choose either a 23.8-inch or a smaller 21.5-inch monitor with FHD (1080p) resolution and a 75Hz refresh rate. The monitor comes with integrated speakers and offers a wider 16:9 aspect ratio display.
