ZTE, the Chinese smartphone company has announced ZMax Pro, the latest device in the ZMax range. The ZMax Pro is a phablet with huge 6-inch display and is priced at just $99.
ZTE ZMax Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor and features a 6-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone uses USB Type-C port for charging and also boasts of a fingerprint scanner at the back.
ZTE’s ZMax Pro will be available via MetroPCS in the US starting August 1. The smartphone is interestingly priced at just $99 (approximately Rs 6,600). ZTE ZMax Pro comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD expansion slot. The smartphone’s graphics performance is taken care of by Adreno 405 GPU.
ZTE ZMax Pro is 8.9 mm thick and weighs 175 grams. ZTE has added a 13MP primary camera with phase detection autofocus and a 5MP front camera. Since the phone is big, ZTE has managed to pack a really big battery. ZTE ZMax Pro comes with a 3,400mAh battery with a rated standby time of 16.7 days.
The smartphone supports LTE Cat 4 bands with HD voice calling feature. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with all the latest connectivity options.
