Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro India launch is set for November 22. The company has sent out media invites for an event in New Delhi, which starts 11:30 AM. "The new Note rises," the invite reads, suggesting the Redmi Note 6 Pro will make its debut in India on this date. The successor to Redmi Note 5 Pro, which was launched in India in February this year, features four cameras - two on the front and two at the back. The Redmi Note 6 Pro has already been launched in markets like China, Thailand and Dubai. Redmi Note 6 Pro: Expected price in India Redmi Note 6 Pro costs 6990 Thai baht (or approx Rs 15,450) in Thailand where it has already been launched. In India, the phone will likely have a starting price of Rs 14,999 if one goes by the previous pricing for the Redmi Note 5 Pro. However, the prevailing economic conditions with rupee struggling against the dollar could mean that Xiaomi goes for a slightly higher pricing with the Redmi Note 6 Pro. The new Redmi Note is another highly anticipated phone for 2018, especially since its predecessor is among the best-selling devices for the company in India. Redmi Note 6 Pro: Specifications and features Redmi Note 6 Pro sports a large 6.18-inch display with FHD+ resolution and screen aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 636 processor and backed by a 4,000mAh battery. The battery and processor as the same as the previous Redmi Note 5 Pro. It is available in two storage configurations - 4GB RAM+64GB ROM and 6GB RAM+64GB storage, which is also the same as the earlier Redmi Note 5 Pro. The phone runs MIUI 10, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. There's no Android Pie version for the smartphone just yet. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 20MP+2MP dual front camera and 12MP+5MP dual rear camera. Xiaomi has changed the camera sensor on the Redmi Note 6 Pro compared to the Redmi Note 5 Pro, which had a single front camera in comparison. The newer Note phone also has a notch on the display, which was not a part of the earlier phone. Redmi Note 6 Pro will continue with both Face Unlock and a fingerprint sensor as well.
