The smaller Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) sports a 7-inch TFT display and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Samsung has officially launched its 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab A (2016) on the company’s German website. The tablet comes in two variants – WiFi and LTE – at 289 euros (Rs 21,981 approx) and 349 euros (Rs 26,545 approx) respectively. The devices come with similar hardware specs on-board, except the WiFi variant has a smaller screen size.

The Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a 10.1-inch TFT display (1920×1200 p) and runs Android Marshmallow. The device is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM (expandable up to 200 GB via microSD cards).

It sports an 8 MP rear primary camera with LED flash and 2 MP front camera. The tab is backed by a 7,300 mAh battery.

It supports WiFi, Bluetooth, KidMode 4.0, GPS and micro USB. The 7-inch Galaxy Tab A is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor, with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB internal memory (expandable up to 200GB via microSD card).

While the Korean giant unveiled the 2016 edition of Galaxy Tab A for Germany, there’s no word from the company on its India launch yet.
