OnePlus 2, the 2015 flagship killer from the Chinese-start-up OnePlus, goes on sale today on Amazon India at 4 pm. The 64 GB version of the OnePlus 2 with 4GB RAM is priced at Rs 24,999 and yes you will need an invite to get the new smartphone. OnePlus 2 has a 5.5-inch Full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, OIS enabled 13MP camera with laser auto-focus and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Additionally the OnePlus 2 also has a USB Type-C connector, which supports various new USB standards like USB 3.1 and USB power delivery (USB PD). It also supports HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA with adapters of course. [related-post] The OnePlus 2 battery is 3300mAh battery and it runs the Oxygen UI based on Android 5.0. The OnePlus 2 front camera is 5 megapixel and the smartphone also has a fingerprint scanner which it claims it much faster than Apple's Touch ID and lets users store up to 5 different fingerprints. In an interview to IndianExpress.com, Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus said that the OnePlus 2 will be the only flagship from the company for the year 2015 and that they will not be reducing the price of the original OnePlus One phone any further.
