Micromax launches Canvas Tab P480 calling tablet at Rs 6,999

Micromax Canvas Tab P480 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

Micromax today announced the launch of its Canvas Tab P480 calling tablet at a pirce of Rs 6,999. The 7-inch Canvas Tab P480 is the company’s third device in the Canvas Tab series, after the P470 and the Intel-powered Canvas Tab P666.

Powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, the Canvas Tab P480 Dual SIM calling tablet comes with 3G connectivity. It sports a 7-inch IPS screen with a display resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Currently running on Android KitKat 4.4 OS, the tablet will get an upgrade on Android Lollipop 5.0 through FOTA soon.

It comes with a 5MP AF rear camera with HD recording, and the 2MP FF front camera and is powered by a 3000 mAh battery. On the memory front, the device comes with 1GB RAM and 32GB expandable memory.
