Just how much would you pay for a smartphone with a night vision camera? Well Danish company Lumigon has launched its Lumigon T3 smartphone with such a feature, and this one costs $740 or close to Rs 50,000 if you convert. So if you need a phone on a night-time safari, the Lumigon T3 is the answer.
Previously Lumigon had launched its T2 smartphone, which was also a remote control. Now with the T3 the company is banking on the night vision camera on the back (in addition to the regular rear and front camera) to make its smartphone stand-out.
But that’s not all: Lumigon T3 has been crafted in “marine-grade 316 stainless steel” and is dust and water-resistant. Plus there’s Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on the back. There’s also a 24-karat gold edition of this smartphone. Sadly it has a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display; sorry no full HD.
The other specs are: MediaTek X10 2.2 GHz 64-bit octa core processor, 3 GB RAM + 128 GB internal memory options, dual-SIM capability and it runs Android 6.0. There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the front.
The camera is a 13MP main camera with dual tone flash on the back, with 4K video-recording and 120 fps slow-motion recording supported, while the front camera is 5MP/2K with FrontFlash.
The night vision camera is an additional 4MP camera on the back with dual IR flash. It has also got Bluetooth 4.1, Micro USB 2.0 port, External HDMI via MHL and 3.5 mm audio jack along with WiFi, NFC support and an Infrared receiver and transmitter.
Lumigon T3 is available for order from the company’s website, which says it is shipping the smartphone worldwide.
