
Lenovo Phab 2 Plus has been launched in India at Rs 14,999. Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is the successor of the original Phab Plus device that comes with an AR (Augmented Reality) mode in its camera app. Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is exclusive to Amazon in India and will go on sale today after 1 pm.
Lenovo Phab 2 Plus has a 6.40-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The phablet is made of aluminium alloy and features 2.5D curved glass design on the front. The Phab 2 Plus is powered by MediaTek’s MTK8783 octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage expandable to 128GB via microSD card.
The AR mode in Phab 2 Plus’ camera allows users to take photos and create videos with superimposed effects such as virtual backgrounds or cartoons. The front camera is 8MP. The effects offered are similar to the ones on the Google Project Tango-enabled smartphone from Lenovo which is the Phab 2 Pro version.
The device is backed by a 4,050 mAh battery. This is a dual-SIM device with support for Nano SIM, Micro-SIM and microSD card. The slot is a hybrid one. Lenovo says the new phone will support 4G VoLTE in India as well.
Lenovo’s Phab 2 Plus is equipped with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio Capture 5.1 surround sound support. Sensors on the Lenovo Phab 2 Plus include G-Sensor, Proximity Sensor, L-Sensor, E-Compass, Gyroscope Hall Sensor.
