Looks like Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is gearing up to launch a lite version of Honor 10 in China. In fact, the company has already shared a teaser poster on its official Weibo account (via MyDrivers) stating that it will be launching the Honor 10 Lite edition in China on November 21. The device’s launch according to the teaser poster will take place in Beijing, China.
In the poster, we can see that the device will come in a gradient blue colour option. It will also sport a dual camera setup on the back along with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. In comparison, the original Honor 10 featured an ultra-sonic fingerprint scanner.
While key details are limited, many believe the smartphone will sport a notched display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Apparently, the handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor instead of the company’s own Kirin chipset. Moreover, the phone will run Google’s Android 9.0 Pie with Huawei’s own EMUI 9.0 skin on top. Speculation is rife that the Honor 10 Lite will cost anywhere between 1000-2000 yuan (or approx Rs 10,500). Honor 10 Lite edition will compete against Xiaomi’s Mi 8 Lite version.
