Coolpad Note 5’s 4010 mAh battery is claimed to give up to 350 hours of stand by time
Coolpad has launched its new smartphone, the Coolpad Note 5. The phone is a successor to the company’s Note series, and has a metal-unibody design. The dual-SIM phone comes with a 2.5D curved glass, and has a big 4010 mAh battery.
The Coolpad Note 5 features a 5.5-inch FHD display with a 1920×1080 resolution (with 401ppi pixel density). The device is powered by a Qualcomm SD 617 Octa-core processor and an Adreno 405GPU. It comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM (expandable to 64GB).
Coolpad Note 5 has an 13MP primary camera and an 8MP front shooter with LED flash. The 4010 mAh battery is claimed to give up to 350 hours of stand by time. The phone weighs 173gms and is equipped with a Geomagnetic sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, light sensor and fingerpitn sensor. The phone is runnin Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a Cool UI 8.0 skin.

Today I am excited to launch yet another path breaking phone, Note 5’ that has been designed exclusively for the Indian market. We had set a stiff sales target ahead of us and we aim to cross the 4 million handsets mark by March next year. Coolpad aims to be in the top 5 players in the Global and Indian smartphone market.”
Coolpad has also announced that it plans to sell over four million units of phones in India in the next two years.
Coolpad Note 5 will be exclusively available on Amazon India at a price of Rs 10,999. It will be available in variants of royal gold, space grey starting October 2016 via open sale from October 18.
