From Apple iPhone 15 to Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, here are some smartphones you can buy at a discounted price just days before the sale begins.

Another good mid-range phone on sale is the Poco X6. Launched earlier this year, the Poco X6 features a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, the device runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box but Xiaomi has updated it to HyperOS.
The back of the phone is similar to its predecessor and packs a triple camera setup which consists of a 64MP primary shooter along with an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro camera. Poco X6 comes with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage and packs a 5,100mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
The base variant of the Poco X6 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is currently selling on Amazon for Rs 18,499, but you might be able to save some money with bank offers.

Honor X9B
Launched earlier this year in February, the Honor X9B marked the return of the Chinese phone maker in India. Powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, the phone runs on Magic OS 7.2 based on Android 13.

It comes with 8GB and 256GB storage and has a 6.78-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen. On the back, you get a 108MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro camera. While the primary camera can take good photos, the 5MP ultrawide might lack some details. The phone has a 5,800mAh battery that supports 35W charging but there is no charger in the box.
If you are looking for a value-for-money phone that performs smoothly in day-to-day tasks, don’t mind the average camera and instead prefer a huge battery, the Honor X9B (review) is an easy recommendation. Originally launched for Rs 25,999, the phone can be purchased for Rs 19,998 with a Rs 2,000 coupon.

Apple iPhone 15
Launched in September last year, Apple brought several notable upgrades to the vanilla iPhone 15 (review). The newest iPhone is powered by the A16 Bionic chipset and comes with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display screen that can go up to 1,000 nits under direct sunlight.
It runs on iOS 17 out of the box and offers IP68 water and dust resistance, meaning you can take it for a swim if needed. The iPhone 15 also borrows the Dynamic Island from the iPhone 14 Pro series.

Similar to its predecessor, the vanilla iPhone 15 features the same 12MP selfie shooter but Apple seems to have significantly improved the rear cameras. On the back, you get a 48MP primary camera lens accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide shooter. Apple does not officially reveal the battery capacity, but the iPhone 15 packs a slightly larger battery. And while the new iPhone supports reverse wireless charging, the speed at which the phone charges remains the same.
The base variant of the vanilla iPhone 15 (review) that comes with 128GB storage was launched for Rs 79,900, but it is now available for Rs 70,999. Amazon is also offering Rs 4,000 instant discount on SBI and ICICI Bank credit cards, further bringing the effective price down to Rs 66,999.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
Launched in early 2023, the Galaxy S23 Ultra (review) is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and is one of the best phones ever launched by Samsung. The IP68-rated device has a 6.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen that can go up to 1,200 nits and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Running on Android 13 out of the box, Samsung has promised 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security patches. On the back, you get a quad camera setup that consists of a 200MP primary camera, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a 10MP periscope telephoto sensor with 10X optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide lens.
