
Apple’s highly-anticipated iPhone 16 series is all set to go pre-order starting today. The new iPhones were introduced at the recently held “It’s Glowtime” event at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. The latest line up of Apple devices include the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Apple Intelligence, Apple’s proprietary AI, is the key highlight on the new line of devices that feature a new design. Apple will begin accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 16 models starting 5:30 PM today. Consumers can pre-book their Apple devices from the Apple Store. Apple will begin shipping the new iPhones from September 20 and it will also be available in retail stores on the same day. Consumers can also buy the iPhone 16 models from popular e-commerce stores like Amazon, Flipkart and more.
The iPhone 16 models also come with the Action Button that was earlier spotted on the iPhone 15 Pro models. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models come in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays respectively. Both devices are powered by the A18 Bionic chip and feature a new 48 MP camera. In India the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus start at Rs 79,900 and Rs 89,900 respectively.
When it comes to the iPhone 16 Pro Models, they come with premium designs, improved cameras. This time they also sport bigger screens – the iPhone 16 Pro with 6.3-inch display and iPhone 16 Pro Max featuring a 6.9-inch display. The Pro models also come with one of the thinnest borders seen on any Apple product. The Pro models also get a triple camera set up with a 48MP wide-angle, 48MP ultra-wide angle and a 12MP 5x telephoto lens. The devices are powered by the latest A18 Pro chip. While the iPhone 16 Pro starts at Rs 1,19,900, the iPhone 16 Pro Max starts at Rs 1,44,900. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max have 128GB and 256GB as base models.
