Sony has launched its A68 A-mount camera (ILCA-68) with 4D focus.

Sony has launched its A68 A-mount camera (ILCA-68) with 4D focus at Rs 55,990. The phase detection in A68 uses 79 autofocus detection points including 15 cross points, and a dedicated F2.8 AF sensor point for dimly-lit scenes.

Sony A68 comes with AF with predictive tracking that locks onto fast-moving subjects. Sony’s Translucent Mirror Technology provides constant AF tracking at up to 8 fpsii continuous shooting.

It features a a 24 megapixel APS-C Exmor CMOS image sensor with ISO 100-25,600 sensitivity range, has the BIONZ X image processor and is capable of shooting full HD movies.

Sony A68 features OLED Tru-Finder, and comes with 100 per cent frame coverage. The 2.7-type LCD monitor in A68 tilts up to 135 degrees upwards, or 55 degrees downwards for wide shooting angles.

Sony has added a special colour tune-up for shooting in weddings. The camera comes with a 18-135 mm lens (SAL18135) bundle kit for weddings. Sony has also introduced optional accessories like flash, lights, microphones and remote commanders with the camera.

A68 will be available at all Sony Center, Alpha flagship stores and major electronic stores across India.
