Asus ZenBook UX305 with Intel M processor launched for Rs 49,999

Asus has launched a new ultrabook called ZenBook UX305 which is priced at Rs 49,999 and has a QHD+ screen. The ZenBook UX305 weighs 1.2 kg and according to Asus is 12.3 mm thick making it the world’s slimmest 13.3-inch laptop.
Key features of the ZenBook UX305 are: This is has a 13.3-inch with QHD+ (3200x 1800) resolution and has in-plane switching (IPS) along with anti-glare.
The processor is Intel’s new Core M-5Y10 and it has a 512GB SSD along with 8GB of RAM. Asus says that the SATA 6Gbit/s SSD is up to six times faster than a traditional hard disk drive. Asus is promising 10 hours of battery life of up to 10 hours.
ZenBook UX305 has a new wedge-shaped design and is made from solid aluminium. The Asus ZenBook is available in two colours — Obsidian Stone and Ceramic Alloy.
ZenBook UX305 has a full-size keyboard and large responsive touchpad that supports Smart Gestures for intuitive control of Windows 8.1.
This is a fanless Ultrabook and Asus claims that their “IceCool technology ensures that the palm-rest area remains below body temperature at all times.”
It has 3 USB 3.0 ports and one of these ports supports Asus Charger+ technology for rapid recharging of mobile devices. In addition to this, ZenBook UX305 comes bundled with a USB-to-Ethernet adapter and a mini DisplayPort-to-VGA adapter for connecting to an external monitor.
Asus ZenBook UX305 will be cost Rs 49999 and will be available at Flipkart and ASUS Exclusive Stores from 15 May onwards.
