Apple Event in New York: Apple kicked off its New York event by announcing a new MacBook Air which is thinner, lighter, more powerful and greener laptop with a fully recycled aluminium body. The tech giant also announced two new iPad Pros, a redesigned Apple Pencil and a more powerful Mac Mini desktop. MacBook Air now has the latest Intel 8th generation processor. The MacBook Air also gets Touch ID, a better battery life at 13 hours and up to 16GB RAM.
Apple unveiled a redesigned iPad Pro with Face ID and a Liquid Retina display. The new iPad Pro comes with the A12 X Bionic chipset, which is an eight-core processor compared to the six-core on the A12 Bionic that was used on the iPhone XS series. Apple’s iPad Pro for 2018 also comes with a Type-C USB port at the bottom.
