EDGE WINS THE ROYAL RUMBLE!! He dodges a surprise attack from Randy Orton and is the last man standing!! Congratulations to Edge for winning the Rumble, entering at 1! That was awesome!
Braun Strowman is No.30! That's it, everyone is in!
He's baaaaaack! After a two-month absence, The Messiah returns at No.29!
Welcome back, Christian
Nakamura has been eliminated by King Corbin, who entered at 19. But Corbin is eliminated by Dominic Mysterio moments later. Otis follows him, coming in at 20. Meanwhile, Kane is eliminated by Dominic Priest.
Priest eliminates both The Miz and John Morrison after a distraction from Bad Bunny! The music star follows that up with a dive from the top rope! Crazy!
Big E looking strong so far! He's just eliminated Mustafa Ali. Meanwhile, Ricochet flies his way into the rumble at 12. Elias comes out at 13. At 14, Damian Priest! WOW!
Edge and Randy Orton have spent most of the Royal Rumble brawling outside the ring, but Sami Zayn has entered at No.3 and things move inside the squared circle!
Last man standing match was pure carnage! Roman Reigns def. Kevin Owens via 10-count to retain the title. It was fun up until the botched and underwhelming finish at least. Lots of creative spots but I'm sure Paul will hear all about how he can't unlock handcuffs. Good grief.
Roman has been handcuffed to the floor by Owens but avoids being counted out by slamming the referee to the floor! A new referee arrives and Paul Heyman unlocks Reigns.
Kevin Owen's one again proving he is one of the best to ever be in a ring. Incredible.
Roman threw KO over the screens. They have entered The Thunderdome. As things get heated up, Roman Reigns just threw Kevin Owens off the platform through a table!
It's Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens up next in the last man standing match. Universal Championship on the line. “There might be no other match type that lends itself to brutality quite like Last Man Standing” - Graves doing a good job setting the stage for the war we're about to see.
Superstars who won the WWE Royal Rumble Match from the #3 entry:
Ric Flair in 1992
Bianca Belair in 2021
Bianca Belair wins the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble by eliminating Rhea Ripley. The EST of WWE sets the women’s longevity record en route to punching her ticket to Wrestlemania. The last 5 minutes of the Women's Rumble match WAS PERFECT! Damn good chemistry between Belair and Riley
Naomi is eliminated after 47 minutes in the Royal Rumble. Natalya is also gone. So we are down to the final three- Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley. There is a bit of history here
Rhea Ripley eliminates Alexa Bliss before she can transition into her seemingly possessed alter ego! Not how I expected Bliss to be used. She’ll likely have a bigger role later with Orton.
Lana is back as a surprise entrant at No.26! Alexa Bliss in at 27!!! We're expecting some shenanigans
Carmella is in at 24 after failing to capture the SmackDown Women's title earlier tonight. Meanwhile, Rhea eliminates Dakota Kai and Mandy Rose -taking her to five eliminations so far!
R Truth inside the women’s rumble and just lost the 24/7 title to Alicia Fox!!! But he wins it back again. This is hilarious but am glad that WWE is doing intergender wrestling more often
Lacey Evens comes in at No.18 mocking Charlotte's entrance... their storyline continues in the middle of the Royal Rumble match.
So far, no female WWE superstar has spent 60 minutes in a Royal Rumble Match. Natalya came closest, with 56 minutes in the 2019 Rumble match. Meanwhile, Shotzi Blackheart arrives and she’s a steam punk tank driver
Time for the 30 Women Royal Rumble Match! I’m predicting Belair to win this year. The number 1 contestant is none other than -- Bayley! And joining her at number 2 is -- NAOMI !!! SHE IS BACK!
Booker T also says the two words!
Not everything here was smooth, but Banks is so good and Carmella good enough that there was plenty to like. Banks and Carmella have solid chemistry for two women who haven't worked together consistently in years. I would've liked to see this match go longer... which is probably the best thing I've had to say about this show so far. Sasha Banks def. Carmella via submission to retain the title.
The contest begins with McIntyre driving a headbutt into Goldberg and dropped him with a spear before the match even started. Then after the bell rings, McIntyre hit a Claymore seconds later, but Goldberg kicked out. Goldberg then fights back with two more spears for his own near fall but McIntyre again kicked out after a jackhammer. McIntyre hit another Claymore, scoring the pin and retaining the title. Drew McIntyre def. Goldberg via pinfall to retain the title.
Call me old fashion, but I will never understand the idea behind putting your World Heavyweight Championship match as the opening match of a card. However, I am grateful that they will get this with Goldberg out of the way.
Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler def. Charlotte Flair & Asuka via pinfall to win the titles. The 1st title match in #RoyalRumble history saw the crowning of new Women’s Tag Team Champs, when the Jumping Bomb Angels defeated the Glamour Girls in 1988 (in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match). This was the last time women’s tag titles were defended at the @WWE Royal Rumble, until 2021
Hello and welcome! Tonight, one man and one woman will earn a right to challenge for a world championship of their choosing at WrestleMania 37 when they emerge victorious in their respective Royal Rumble matches. It's one of the most anticipated nights of action all year for WWE, filled with surprises and drama unlike any other event.
