After suffering a tragic skiing accident one month earlier, Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher is still in a medically induced coma, said his manager.

Sabine Kehm told the BBC that the world champ remains in stable condition. She rejected French media reports about Schumacher being woken from his coma.

The seven-time world champion suffered a severe head injury when he fell and hit a rock in the French Alps.

Schumacher, after undergoing two operations to remove blood clots around his brain, is kept asleep to reduce the swelling.

It is unlikely that he will achieve the earlier level of his fitness, but medically it is possible to return from coma.
