More travel sickness for Burnley as Stoke City win 2-0

Burnley continued to struggle away from home with a 2-0 defeat at Stoke in the Premier League on Saturday.

Two first-half goals lifted Stoke into the top half of the table.

Jonathan Walters scored his first goal since March with a looping volley before center back Marc Muniesa, who had never scored in the Premier League, broke upfield to add a second.

Mark Hughes’ Potters are ninth in the table after inflicting a fifth defeat in six on the road for the Clarets.

Burnley remained winless on their travels despite four victories at Turf Moor for last year’s second-tier champions.

Burnley dropped to 14th after its third straight league defeat.
