Striker Mustapha Tagoe scored the winner in the 9th minute.

Mohun Bagan is playing Governor’s Gold Cup this year after a 16-year hiatus. They won the 2001 edition — last time they featured in the tournament.

Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling is likely to attend the final of the annual football event, the organisers said.
