
Vincy Premier T10 League 2020, Day 4 Highlights: The first clash of the T10 league carnival was a one-sided affair. First marquee player Sunil Ambris delivered with the bat with an unbeaten 41 helping his side post 104/2. In the second innings, he delivered with the ball taking two wickets for four runs in his two overs. Javid Harry took starred with the ball taking three wickets for seven runs. Salt Pond Breakers won the match by 49 runs against Botanical Garden Rangers.

In the second match, opener Salvan Browne’s 44 helped La Soufriere Hikers post 84/5. In reply, Fort Charlotte Strikers could post 73/8, losing the match by 11 runs. In the last clash of the fourth day, Grenadiers Divers were beaten by Dark View Explorers. The Divers could not chase down a total of 87 as they suffered a batting collapse. Leg-spinner Sealron Williams starred with the ball taking three wickets for 11 runs.

And Ambris gets Currency. Knew his elder brother had to go for his shot, he dropped his pace significantly, got Currency to step out and mistime it to the fielder in the deep. The Rangers lose their entire top order and can now only hope their net run rate does not take too much of a beating because of this loss. Ambris then picks up Welcome's wicket. Welcome has not had a great welcome to this format. He departs after an innings of 3 runs off 16 balls. The slowest innings in the VPL so far. 42/5 after 7.4 overs
The Salt Pond Breakers are set to continue their winning run in this competition. Joey Welcome has a tortutous stay in the middle, with Currency looking on helplessly from the non-striker's end as the required run rate keeps climbing to unachievable proportions. Six dot balls in the 7th over. Unbelievable stuff. First maiden in this competition's history is bowled by Wesrick Strough. The Rangers are on 38/3 after 7 overs and their hopes are already up in smoke.
Sunil Ambris has a laugh at his brother's expense. He motions to knock off Currency's bails at the non-striker's end and then has a laugh. Currency is not amused by the Mankading stunt.
