Pakistan captain Babar Azam had admitted that it was he who gave Iftikhar Ahmad the nickname of "chachu" in the dressing room, and now he feels "embarrassed" about it. However, despite this feeling, he is happy that people enjoy it. "Sometimes, I feel embarrassed that due to me, Iftikhar is now known as 'Chacha' but I am happy that people enjoy it," Babar said in a press conference. Iftikhar Ahmed missed out on his first ODI century and made a fighting unbeaten 94 off 72 balls after Pakistan's top-order stuttered for the first time in the series. Iftikhar and Salman Ali Agha put Pakistan's chase back on track with a 97-run fifth-wicket stand before Shipley returned and broke the partnership by having Agha caught at mid-off in the 35th over. Iftikhar ran out of partners in the death overs with left-arm spinner Rachin Ravindra finishing with 3-65 as No. 11 Haris Rauf was run out at the non-striker’s end while attempting a second run. "He gave some brilliant performances in T20 cricket and today he took the game deep alone but unfortunately, he didn't get support from the other end. "That is why we gave him a chance in ODIs because he has been playing great cricket for the last five-six months and we were struggling on those numbers so we are getting a lot of help from Iftikhar and Salman Ali Agha," Babar said. Babar also revealed that in the back of his mind, he knows which fifteen players are going into the World Cup but in this season, they decided to rotate to check the bench strength. "In this series, we decided to check our bench strength. We have the momentum. Back of the mind, I know who are those 15 cricketers, who will go in the World Cup," he said.
