India were off to a fluent start on Day 3 as Murali Vijay brought up his 100 early. Shakib al Hasan then accounted for the wickets of Dahwan and Rohit Sharma in quick succession. India lost Virat Kohli quickly after that. Ajinkya Rahane then joined Vijay and took India to 398/3 at lunch before rain arrived to extend the break. Rain kept playing the hide and seek game amid which Vijay scored his 150 before falling. Wriddhiman Saha was also dismissed cheaply. Rahane was on course for a ton but was out for 98. Rain arrived again and forced the umpires to call of the day’s play. (Full Coverage: India tour of Bangladesh)

Remember the movie Independence Day? Or, more to the point, it’s poster? It doesn’t look good for the prospect of Day Two of the Bangladesh versus India match, and turns out, it isn’t.
