Jaydev Unadkat was dismissed in a hilarious way in the Deodhar Trophy opener between India A and India B in Ranchi on Thursday. He was run out by Parthiv Patel as he lingered outside his crease, seemingly forgetting that he needed to be back in his crease to avoid being run out.

Put to bat first, India B put 302/6 in 50 overs. India B opener Ruturaj Gaikwad smashed an impressive 113 and Baba Aparajith followed it with an impressive 101.

Chasing a target of 303, Hanuma Vihari-led India A started crumbling from the first, losing wickets in the first ten overs itself. Despite a brave 59-run knock by the captain, India A just couldn’t withstand the bowling attack of Roosh Kalaria and Mohammed Siraj, as they were bundled for 194.

The Deodhar Trophy continues with India A taking on India C at the same venue on Friday.
