MP government taps my phone: Digvijay

Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh today alleged that his phone was being tapped by the Madhya Pradesh government.

Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh today alleged that his phone was being tapped by the Madhya Pradesh government.

“I know that the Madhya Pradesh government taps my phone.

I have no problem with it,” Singh said a day after he rejected the involvement of the Centre into the alleged phone tapping of four senior leaders,including himself.

“I don’t believe this story because Manmohan Singh’s government cannot do such an unethical and illegal task,” he had said.

Singh,however,during an interaction with reporters at his residence said he had no objection to his phone being tapped.

He further accused Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan of protecting corrupt ministers in his cabinet.

Chouhan should seek resignation of Industries and IT Minister Kailash Vijayavargiya,who is embroiled in a land scam in Indore and against whom the Lokayukta has started investigation,Singh said.
