Krishnappa,a realtor, successfully retained his Vijayanagar seat in Bangalore City and his son did the same from the neighbouring Govindarajanagar constituency.

It was a mixed bag of luck for JDS state unit President H D Kumaraswamy, who coasted to victory with a big margin from Ramanagar assembly segment, but his wife Anita, had to bite the dust from neighbouring Chennapatna constituency.

Lady luck continued to smile on Kumaraswamy’s elder brother H D Revanna (JDS),who chalked out an impressive victory from his bastion Holenarasipura in Hassan district.

It is also a sweet and sour experience for M Krishnappa who retained Bangalore South seat, however, his brother M Srinivas, lost in Rajarajeswarinagar constituency. Both contested in BJP ticket.
