Tharoor, who represents Thiruvananthapuram in Lok Sabha, was the chief guest at the function organised to distribute title-deeds to the landless at Vizhinjam near here last evening, but could not turn up as Parliament was in session.

Attacking Tharoor,Achuthanandan said,“This time round I have also come prepared to pose a few questions to him to know what the Centre had done for the state.

“Did the Centre come out with any help to the state? If he (Tharoor) was here I would have put the question directly to him,” the 86-year-old CPI-M leader said.
