Taking a leaf out of PM Narendra Modi’s book, Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha Sunday batted for purchasing local products, especially clay diyas, for the upcoming Diwali festival. “He (Modi) stressed on Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Aatmanirbhar Tripura. He stressed to give priority to local products. We get attracted to foreign-made products and do not value our local products much,” said Saha while listening to the 106th episode of PM Modi’s ‘Mann ki Baat’ radio program at Bhattapukur Kalitilla under Badharghat constituency. “India has emerged as a strong country under the guidance of our prime minister. PM Modi’s slogan, ‘Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat’, and our slogan of ‘Ek Tripura, Shrestha Tripura’ is getting stronger day by day. Our mothers and daughters are present here. Unless they become stronger or we make them stronger, society cannot be stronger,” Saha added.
