With Diwali inching closer – spilling colour, crafts and celebration across the city — Delhi-NCR’s festive bazaars are in full swing. From handmade lamps to live music, these melas promise last-minute shoppers a mix of nostalgia and newness — the perfect mix of last-minute shopping, food, music and community spirit.
In its 13th year, Dastkar’s Festival of Lights remains capital’s handmade heart. The festival has over 200 artisan groups from across India fill Nature Bazaar with festive textiles, decor, jewellery and furniture. “In the Diwali Mela we have a mix of every craft and everything is handmade,” says Muskan Grover, content writer at Dastkar. She adds, “The handmade paper lights and terracotta lamps are made with such intricacy that just placing a small diya shows how much reflection a lamp can spread… each purchase becomes a small way of supporting an artisan’s craft and keeping that light of tradition alive.”
Expect Banarasi silks, dhokra figurines and mirror-worked fabrics — and the glow of craftsmanship that gives Diwali its soul.

Alongside these stalls, visitors can find over 250 vendors selling everything from footwear to garden décor, and even two massage stalls run by trained visually-impaired professionals.
