During the tenure, the state hosted G20 meetings and also the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, besides bringing in policies aimed at making it a semiconductor hub of the country, according to a statement by the government.

During the time, the government also launched a host of new policies, including the Gujarat Atmanirbhar Policy, Gujarat Biotechnology Policy, New Gujarat IT/ITes Policy, Gujarat Sports Policy, Drone Policy, Gujarat Semiconductor Policy, Gujarat Renewable Energy Policy, Cinematic Tourism Policy, Student Start-up and Innovation Policy 2.0 (SSIP-2.0), Gujarat Procurement Policy, and Gujarat Green Hydrogen Policy among others, the statement added.

The statement further informed that the government also introduced various measures for upliftment of the underprivileged, like providing smart cards to over 1.17 crore unorganized labourers, constructing over 14 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and providing free food grains to over 72 lakh NFSA cardholder families.

Gujarat was also ranked first in the country for four consecutive years according to the Startup Ranking by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade. Aimed at uplifting the famers of the state, over Rs 11,000 crore was transferred directly to the bank accounts of 58.79 lakh farmer families under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
