October 1: The Khadu Rangnekar XI and Vijay Manjrekar XI were victorious by virtue of their first innings lead over Dattu Phadkar XI and Vijay Merchant XI respectively in the Sportstar Trophy matches at various grounds today.At the Elf-Vengsarkar Academy Ground, Rangnekar XI bowled out the defending champions Phadkar XI for 195 after scoring 250 for eight in their allotted 90 overs.Though opener Sachin Sawant hit 73, studded with ten hits to the fence in 127 balls, and also put on a stand of 73 for the third wicket with skipper Kunal More, Phadkar XI were never in the hunt after the loss of these two.
