PUNE, Dec 4: Unaware that only a few petrol pumps in Pune accept credit cards, Yogesh Shinde - a 25-year-old former employee of a Pune Cantonment based courier agency was caught while pushing a stolen credit card to procure fuel for his scooter. A CD Player, four CDs and several exclusive garments and cosmetics which Yogesh had purchased against the stolen card have been seized by the Bund Garden police. Three stolen scooters have also been recovered from him. The card, in the name of P S Bendre from Juni Sanghvi, was misplaced a month ago. The person who found it, tried to return it to Bendre through the Sadhu Vaswani Chowk-based courier agency where Yogesh worked. He stole it and went on a shopping spree.
