BJP leader and former Karnataka deputy Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa slammed Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy for his statement that some BJP leaders had "conspired" to stall power transfer and prevented him from becoming the Chief Minister."We are united. Let him not try to create a wedge. Hereafter, I will not take the name of Kumaraswamy or his father and JDS supremo HD Devegowda," Yediyurappa told reporters.Under attack after he reneged from his promise to transfer power to the BJP, Kumaraswamy had on Sunday said that he was not at fault and sought to shift the blame on BJP leaders.State unit BJP President DV Sadananda Gowda too assailed Kumaraswamy's remarks on BJP leaders, saying, "they betrayed the BJP"."We will tell people of the state on the betrayal by JDS," Gowda said before embarking upon the party's "punish promise breakers and save Karnataka" campaign, which will kick-off from Tumkur on Monday.
