Woman strangles children, commits suicide

RAJKOT, FEB 9: A young housewife strangulated to death her son and daughter aged eight and five respectively, before setting herself ablaze in her house at Morbi about 70 km from here yesterday.

Police sources said that the highly charred body of Ranjanben was lying near the bodies of her children. A neighbour had informed the police after hearing unusual cries from the house, the sources said.

Ranjanben’s husband Rajesh, had gone out of station along with his mother and sister at the time of the incident, sources said.
