MUMBAI, Nov 27: Wellingdon YMCA defeated last year's runner-up Nagpada Neighbourhood House (NNH) 56-35 to enter the semi-final of the XIth Bombay YMCA Open basketball tournament at Ghatkopar YMCA today.NNH, who usually play a fast and aggressive game, were a subdued lot, the fast breaks and drives conspicuously absent. For Wellingdon, Ashraf Ansari and Rafique Shaikh were fluent in their moves, and did the bulk of the scoring.Earlier, Agradneya Vyayamshala B defeated Indian Gymkhana 33-20 in a junior girls' match. Agradneya chose to field their best players, including youth national Gayatri Manolikar, in the B side as the draw had pitted their A team against Fatima Sports Club, which has been bolstered by the induction of junior international Anita Krishnan.
