Wont pelt stones if rights violations stop: Villagers to interlocutors

Interlocutors appointed by the Centre on Wednesday got an assurance from villagers in North Kashmirs Langate town that they will give up stone pelting if security forces stop violating human rights. Journalist Dileep Padgaonkar and academician Radha Kumar travelled to North Kashmirs Butagund village near Langate town,where independent MLA Sheikh Rashid took an oath from assembled gathering that they wont indulge in stone pelting or rioting if government stops human rights violation in Kashmir.
