Welcoming the appointment of Nandan Nilekani as the Chairman of the newly-formed Unique Identification (UID) Authority,Home Minister P Chidambaram on Friday said the move could result in a new trend of inviting people with special skills and capabilities to work in the Government. "I think it is a very good decision. We need more people like him to join the Government. People with special skills should always be welcomed in the Government. This can start off a very healthy trend. I am sure Mr Nilekani's expertise will help in making this scheme hugely successful," Chidambaram said.
