Gautam Ghosh,country manager of ViewSonic India has quit after nearly 5 years of stint to take on a new role in the industry.

Based out of Delhi,Ghosh was spearheading India operations of ViewSonic since February 2006 and was the most visible face of the company in India. He was responsible for the company’s business interest in India by providing strategic business direction to ensure continuous and dynamic growth of the brand. ViewSonic market share had scaled up to the position of No 2 in standalone segment during his leadership.

A court in Antwerp passed the order initiating the formal process of bringing Choksi back to India. But, he still has options to challenge the order passed by the lower court.

The Indian government has assured that Choksi will be held in a specific jail complex and provided with basic amenities if extradited. Choksi's extradition proceedings have advanced in Belgium and he has the option to challenge the order.
