In a move to end the ongoing stalemate in the Himachal Congress,the party high command on Saturday offered the post of Governor to Congress Legislature Party leader Vidya Stokes. Among other states,she was offered gubernatorial job in Rajasthan. However,it could not be confirmed whether Stokes has taken up the offer. The AICC moves comes after the crisis in the faction-ridden unit of the party deepened as incumbent PCC president Kaul Singh Thakur,who has been forced to make way for former CM Virbhadra Singh,demanded he be made the CLP leader.
