Unrest in Tappal again,farmers block road

After a lull for over a month,the farmers of Tappal area of Aligarh district on Tuesday blocked the Aligarh-Delhi Highway,demanding immediate release of their leader Manvir Singh Teotiya. The blockade was lifted around 10 pm following an assurance of the officials. “The Gautam Budhh Nagar police arrested Teotiya for violation of Section 144 of the CrPc while he was on way to Aligarh from Noida this evening. The locals staged demonstration,but they were pacified,and they dispersed around 10 pm,” said Aligarh SSP Satyendra Vir Singh.
