A multi-media digital audio and video presentation portraying Indias leading artiste Taufiq Qureshis newly-developed language for playing traditional Indian tabla beats on the djembe has been released by Ultimate Guru Music. Taufiq has developed a unique method that adapts the tabla syllables for performance on the djembe and other single drums.

In this 2-DVD set,Taufiq demonstrates this language with live studio performances. The album is out on Ultimate Guru,a music label dedicated to making World Music accessible and understood by all. This project will be marketed to a global audience comprising non-resident Indians,music consumers in India,educational institutions and cultural associations and will be distributed through traditional and emerging digital distribution channels. It is sponsored by Indiareit,who are pioneers in the real-estate fund space in India.
