Chennai-based two-wheeler maker TVS Motor Company today reported a 11.78 per cent increase in its total vehicle sales in November at 1,75,535 units.
The company had sold 1,57,041 units in the same month last year,TVS Motor Company said in a statement.
Two-wheeler sales of the company grew by 12.31 per cent last month to 1,72,829 units from 1,53,882 units in the year-ago period,it added.
Scooter sales increased by 22.27 per cent to 44,301 units in November from 36,233 units in the same month of 2010,while motorcycle sales declined marginally to 62,603 units from 62,995 units in the year-ago period.
The company’s domestic two-wheeler sales registered a growth of 7.79 per cent to 1,50,406 units against 1,39,541 units in November 2010.
Three-wheeler sales of the company went down by 14.34 per cent to 2,706 units from 3,159 units in the same month of 2010,the statement said.
Company’s exports increased 53.13 per cent to 24,271 units from 15,850 units in the same month previous year,it added.
