Anjali Damania the new poster girl of Arvind Kejriwals India Against Corruption found herself at the receiving end of some tough questions at an event in New Delhi. A self-proclaimed Anna Hazare supporter from Haryana reminded Damania of a letter she had written to Maharashtra irrigation department some time back asking that the location of a proposed dam be shifted by about 500-700 metres so that 30 acres of her property would not be submerged. In that letter, she had argued that beyond 700 metres, there is no private land, and it will only be Adivasi land and we are sure they will be adequately compensated. Damania tried to explain that tribals get land in lieu of their acquired land, but was not very convincing.
